WOMEN'S TRACK TRAINING
I started the Womens Track program at the Alkek Velodrome in 2011 because of my daughter, Cristin.  Cristin has represented our country at Pan Am Games and various World Cups but when racing and training locally, there just were not enough women to justify seperate womens races.    Track racing is a great participant sport because of the closed environment and advanced bike handling skills required.  Track riding is an excellent way to become a better road racer!  So the women’s program was started.

In nine weeks you will learn how to ride the track, how to race the track and learn some race tactics.  After a few weeks of training, you will be able to race at the Alkek’s Friday night races.

2012 program starts on March 5th and runs through April 30thNine weeks of track racing just for women.

Fee is $10.00 per session with track bike supplied (if you don’t have one).
